Uhhh..The Stock Market is Collapsing Right Now
Hey, uhh… have you all taken a peek at what the stock market is doing this morning?
At the time of this writing (11:30am EST), the Dow Jones Industrial Average is currently down 939 points (-2.33%) on the day.
There are other scary statistics coming out about what is going on in the market as well.
The jobs report came in with a far less impressive number than what was expected. About 114,000 new jobs added versus expectations of 175,000 new jobs for the month.
That, along with many other factors have all come into play and are putting a lot of pressure on the market.
Of course, there are different kinds of market moves that happen all the time.
Why then do I find this one particularly concerning?
Panic?!
Yes, there actually are some reasons to be worried about the movement that we are seeing in the market today.
